NORTHMINSTER FRIENDSHIP CLUB  

New Name! New Year! Same group of people dedicated to working within the church, having fun and growing in spirit and in knowledge.

Effective immediately the name of the Come Double and Fellowship Club, has been changed to Northminster Friendship Club, broadening our horizons and becoming more inviting to the needs of our ever changing congregation.

Over the years our Constitution and Bylaws have been constantly updated but certain facts remain the same: 1 Any interested person may become a member of the Club 2) Objectives: a) to encourage religious life in the home. b) to promote Christian fellowship among the members and loyalty to the Church; c) to provide a program including devotional, cultural and social activities.

The Club regularly meets on the second Wednesday of October, November, January, February and May, with other activities planned for the months in between. Regular meeting are planned by groups within the Club and any extra meetings or social activities are planned by the Executive, with input from the members of the Club.

The Executive cordially invites interested persons to attend any meeting, and if pleased with our program, join! Existing members of the Club would be happy to bring anyone to a meeting, or activity, and introduce them. Just let us know. All are welcome, after all we are the FRIENDSHIP CLUB.

Coming Event

Northminster Friendship Club is having their annual Christmas Outing on December 10th, 2008. It will be a three course Turkey Dinner at Officers' Mess, Oshawa Armory. Gathering at 6:00 pm with Dinner at 6:30 pm. Everyone welcome. Cost, including gratuities and rental of hall comes to $45.00 per person. Dress code is in effect for the Officers' Mess, tie and jackets for the men, festive attire for the women.

Northminster Friendship Club is having a Christmas Bake Sale, after church in the lower hall, on Sunday December 14th, 2008. Pies, cookies, tarts, etc.
