UCW GROUPS  

Northminster United Church Women

          Northminster UCW strives to meet the needs of women in our congregation. We have two units that meet monthly:

          The Joy/Rossland Unit meets on the second Tuesday of the month at 1:30 at the church.

          The Fellowship Unit meets on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 7:30 pm at the church.

          Meetings consist of worship, fellowship and an interesting programme.

          The Fellowship group organizes two Rummage Sales each year. The Spring and Fall dates will be published later. Our major event is the Golden Harvest Bazaar to be held on Sat. Oct 27. Please watch for more details at a later date. The Bazaar is our major fund raising event when we appreciate all the help given by congregation members.

Quilters Group

          A group of dedicated women meet on Tuesdays in the boardroom. They make new quilts or restore family heirlooms. Please contact the church office for more information.
