Joint Ash Wednesday Service

Northminster's congregation is invited to Faith Lutheran Church for a joint Ash Wednesday service at 7:00 p.m. on Feb. 22. Also invited are St. Paul's and Knox Presbyterian.

Lenten Lunches

Lenten Lunches will be held at Northminster United Church each Wednesday in Lent beginning February 29 at noon. Northminster will be hosting the first lunch on the 29th. Donations of soup, bread, cheese and sweets are needed. If you can provide food items or are able to help that day, please let the church office know.

Outreach Sunday – March 11, 2012

We are looking forward to the upcoming Outreach Sunday service with special guest speaker Rev. Jackie Harper, Minister of Congregational Wholeness and Right Relations for the Bay of Quinte Conference.

Rev. Harper has responsibilities in the following areas:

  • provides leadership and education in the areas of right relationships and dealing with conflict in a healthy manner, mission statements, congregatoinal covenants and strengthening leadership.
  • provides leadership and education in the areas of faith formation, leadership development, children, youth and young adults.
  • supports the creation of harmonious communities of all ages.
  • provides education in the areas of intercultural relationships and gender justice.

Jackie will be speaking at the 10:30 service and then following the lasagna lunch put on by the AOTS she will be continuing with us from 1-2:30 p.m. with our own visioning. Be sure to join us.
