Music

The Northminster Choir is a vibrant group of approximately 35 men and women who choose to share their talents to worship God though music. Our anthem repertoire ranges from traditional to contemporary and beyond and we work towards a balance of styles. Our choir supports the congregational hymns and our combined music helps us all to learn new songs, pray, rejoice, mourn and give thanks during our Church services. We also have several interesting programs through the year such as our Spring Sing, Harvest Home Hymn Festival and special Christmas presentations.

We are blessed to have some members with exceptional voices and others who are wonderful choristers. There are smaller vocal ensembles and instrumentalists in the group who sing and play for us during the year. Regardless of talents, all members of the choir look forward to serving our Church in voice and spirit and always welcome new members to be a part of their ministry. We all love God, music, conversation, laughter and fellowship.
